“Nick has been enormously valuable to my companies. He is
incredibly accessible and is always available to pitch in. At the Gilt Groupe,
Nick introduced us to three major hires: our chief executive officer, the
general manager of our travel subsidiary and the general manager of our
Japanese operations. He has contributed significantly on strategic discussions
and has been a lot of fun to work with.”
--Kevin Ryan, co-founder and chairman of the Gilt Groupe,
co-founder and CEO of AlleyCorp, investor in TheLadders.com, former chief
executive officer of DoubleClick
“Nick is professional, thoughtful, kind and sharp. He steps back and lets you run your company,
taking more of a consultative approach, as in, ‘You know more about your
business than I do, but you might consider this.’”
--Sheila Marcelo, founder and chief executive officer,
Care.com
